At KickHost, we aim to provide clear and transparent terms for refunds. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are processed. By using our services, you agree to the terms specified in this policy.

 


1. General Refund Terms

1.1 Hosting Services

  • KickHost offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for hosting services only.
  • If a hosting plan includes a free domain as part of the package:
    • The cost of the domain will be deducted from the refund amount based on its standard registration price.
    • Exception: For hosting plans involving a .co.ke domain, the full refund, including the domain, will be provided.

1.2 Domains

  • All domain name registrations, renewals, and transfers are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the domain extension.
  • This policy applies to all domain extensions, including but not limited to .com, .org, .net, and .co.ke.
  • The exception for .co.ke domains: No refunds are allowed even if part of a hosting package, unless a valid hosting refund request applies under the 30-day guarantee.

1.3 Refund Request Processing

  • Refunds are processed only on Fridays.
    • Refund requests made on a Friday will be processed the following Friday.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

1.4 Account Closure

  • Refund requests must be submitted prior to closing your account. Refunds cannot be processed after account closure.

2. Non-Refundable Products and Services

The following products and services are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Domain name registrations, renewals, or transfers.
  • Security products, including SSL certificates, after activation.
  • Premium domain names.
  • Redemption fees for expired domains.
  • Any product or service explicitly marked as non-refundable during purchase.

3. Hosting Refund Conditions

  • To qualify for a refund, hosting services must be canceled within 30 days of purchase.
  • If the hosting package included a free domain, the standard domain registration cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Domains are non-refundable, even when purchased as part of a hosting package, except for .co.ke domains, which may qualify for a full package refund under the hosting refund terms.

4. Special Terms for .co.ke Domains

  • Refunds are not available for standalone .co.ke domain registrations, renewals, or transfers.
  • Hosting refunds involving .co.ke domains will include the domain cost if requested within 30 days of purchase.

5. Refund Timing and Requests

  • Refunds will be processed on the first Friday following the request date.
  • All refund requests must be submitted via our client portal at https://kickhost.com/portal.

6. Legal Compliance and Liability

  • KickHost complies with all applicable international domain registration and consumer protection laws.
  • We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the criteria specified in this policy.
  • KickHost is not liable for delays caused by payment processors or third-party providers.

7. Policy Modifications

KickHost reserves the right to update or amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website at https://kickhost.com/refund-policy.
